The eighth overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft belongs to the Atlanta Falcons.

The Falcons are in a fortunate spot as they are the first team that will likely be looking at the defensive side of the ball in the NFL Draft. That means they'll have the pick of the litter of the defensive players.

Let's take a look at the latest odds.

2024 NFL Draft Odds: Updated No. 8 Pick Betting Lines

LathamOTB+8000Olumuyiwa Fashanu+5000+8000Laiatu Latu +150

Latu is one of the top pass rushers in the NFL Draft.

Latu totaled 13 sacks in 12 games during his junior season with the UCLA Bruins. He had 10.5 sacks during his sophomore season. The 6-foot-5, 265-pound standout is as pure of an edge pass rusher as there is 鈥?and that's exactly what the Atlanta Falcons need.

Dallas Turner +175

Turner has been connected to the Falcons for a while. Latu and Turner are interchangeable as the top pass rushers in the draft.

The 6-foot-4, 252-pounder has played a lot of football for the Alabama Crimson Tide over the past three seasons. He recorded 30+ tackles in each of his three seasons. This past season, he filled the void of Will Anderson by racking up 10.5 sacks.

Byron Murphy +600

Murphy has been shooting up draft boards since his performance against Washington in the College Football Playoff. Murphy's combination of size and explosiveness has scouts and general managers foaming at the mouth.

The 6-foot-1, 308-pounder racked up five sacks for the Texas Longhorns this past season.

It's rare to see a defensive tackle prioritized over pass rushers, but Murphy is the type of player who could do so.
